We have been ‘rebranding’ but we realize, as we sort through all of our old material, we have not changed. We love unique, custom, handmade, one of a kind, touched by the artist, creatively designed pieces that are made to be loved, not just ‘purchased.’ We love the idea of everybody owning something that was made for them, personally, to express their sense of style and support their aesthetic. We are adopting some practices though, that will help us design and produce more consistently. To do this we have decided to curate collections that incorporate some designs that, though utilizing our original art, are not all handmade. This will also allow us to offer some friendlier price points.

Some of you have been with us through the painted furniture phase, only Art stage, Art and merchandise stage, custom designers stage, Toy/doll/soft sculpture stage, sculpted/molded/cast silicone stage, and now: clothing and accessories for creative folk… the thing is, through all these stages we have been true to ourselves, true to our people, true to our priorities and convictions.

The thing is, we LOVE the creative minds in the people around us. We are learning to love our own creative minds. We are inspired motivated and challenged to keep moving, keep growing. Like us, a lot of you are finding you are not just creative, you quite literally think differently than the bulk of society. This can be quite a challenge in itself. Some of you feel ‘othered’ in the circles you inhabit. A lot of our current designs are still centered in the message of accepting others who, might on surface, appear weird or off-putting. These representatives we create to illustrate this feeling are, as always, wandering around inside us and we love them. We want to give you a chance to love them too.

Our collections will evolve around these ‘heroes.’ They will include articles of clothing and jewelry with patterns, colors and shapes inspired by each character, but separate from. All of our clothing will be designed to mix and match from collection to collection and each piece will also be designed to stand alone. Each collection will have products that range from entirely handmade to ‘designed by us and hand embellished,’ to simply decorated. They will be priced accordingly and some pieces will be in very limited quantity (so, if you haven’t already, you may want to join our mailing list to see what is going to be listed before they are sold out).

I hope that this new direction excites you! It has been difficult and wonderful and frustrating to ‘be us and be in business’… but we are still here, and we are SO happy that you are too!!!! As always, we thank you!!!
